What Cuts Will I Get?

**Please note that amounts will vary based on the final weight of the animal. These amounts are listed as a general guideline to assist you in the beef buying process**

Bundle Pack – includes all the typical cuts like steaks, roasts and ground beef. Typically includes New York steaks, Rib Steaks, Tenderloin/Filets, Sirloin Steaks or sirloin tip steaks, 2-3 roasts, either arm, top, bottom, round and/or chuck, and 10- 1 lb. packages of ground beef.  Please note that the packages may vary slightly. Usually around 25-30 pounds of beef.

1/8 Beef – includes a few more types of cuts than our bundle package. A great sampler as a pre-cursor to committing to a 1/4, or for smaller families/empty nesters. It gives you all the beef standards like roasts, steaks and ground beef.  Average hanging weight is 85 pounds

  • 25% Steaks
  • 35% Roasts and misc. cuts like stew meat and short ribs
  • 40% Ground Beef

1/4 Beef – includes a few more types of cuts than our eighth package. A great value that gives you all the beef standards like roasts, steaks and ground beef, but also items such as flank steak, brisket and short ribs. Average hanging weight is 150-200 pounds

  • 25% Steaks
  • 35% Roasts and misc. cuts like stew meat and short ribs
  • 40% Ground Beef

1/2 Beef – Half and whole beef customers enjoy the best value and have the ability to fully customize their order such as thickness of steaks, various cuts, bones and organ meat. We will work with you on cutting instructions for the butcher. Average hanging weight is 300-400 pounds.

Standard cut (not customized) would be:

  • 25-30% Steaks
  • 35% Roasts and misc. cuts
  • 35-40% Ground beef

Whole Beef – Our lowest price per pound package. A whole beef is your very best value. Don’t need that much meat? Split your order with friends and family! Average hanging weight is 600-700 pounds.

Standard cut (not customized) would be:

  • 25-30% Steaks
  • 35% Roasts and misc. cuts
  • 35-40% Ground beef
